RKV Design was founded in Los Angeles in 2014 with a focus on creating thoughtful, interiors enhanced by architectural lighting.
We believe every space has a story rooted in its architecture. Our role is to interpret that framework and layer it with our clients’ vision — refining, editing, and elevating it into something cohesive and quietly impactful.
Our work spans custom residences and select retail environments, with an emphasis on atmosphere, materiality, and technical precision.

REBECCA HIDALGO - OWNER
Rebecca Hidalgo is a lighting and interior designer with over 20 years of experience shaping refined residential, retail, and hospitality environments.
Since settling in Los Angeles, she found her niche in architectural lighting design, working on custom homes and global retail brands. Her approach is grounded in architectural training and guided by a sensitivity to atmosphere — creating spaces that feel intentional, layered, and luminous.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Fine Art and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society. Outside of her professional practice, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their three children.
